What is bootybarre® ?
bootybarre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. bootybarre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre. We focus on proper biomechanics for a safe and well structured class that can be modified for any fitness level. bootybarre was created by celebrity trainer Tracey Mallett in 2009, who has taken it to over 25 different countries and taught thousands of instructors who now teach bootybarre in studios and spas globally!

What to wear - Gym attire is best and we have bare feet, or grip socks are available to purchase. Mats are provided for your use.

bootybarre® Flex & Flow
A fusion class, that is based on the Pilates principles with movements inspired from exercises on the reformer or trapeze table. The class is performed to the beat of the music utilizing a band for strength training and total body sculpting. Unlike bootybarre PLUS there are NO cardio intervals, the class is steady state!
This dynamic total body workout features our cutting edge bootybarre cuff which helps you experience fluid movement and seamless flow combined with functional strength and flexibility. Don’t miss out!
A 50 minute class utilising the barre, light weights and a small ball. A safe class for those with common complaints such as osteoporosis, arthritis, joint inflexibility and/or balance issues, or anyone just getting back into exercise. This class is suitable to all ages.
bootybarre® PRE & POST NATAL
Pre & Post Natal bootybarre® is a safe and effective workout during pregnancy & beyond. Working on maintaining fitness, increasing muscle tone whilst having fun in an uplifting energising space. Babies and toddlers are welcome. This class is suitable for any level of fitness and for expecting mothers in their 1st and 2nd trimester.
bbarreless is about connecting your mind to the body, so that you not only strive to move with precision but also have FUN. Classic barre exercises have been adapted to be performed in the center of the room either standing or on the floor. You will challenge the core for balance and total body proprioception. Dancers have performed floor barre for generations as it allows them to explore new movements and gives them the strength to move with elegance and ease utilizing the floor for support.
bbarreless is broken down into four blocks with two cardio fusion intervals a short warm-up and simple stretches to complete a total body workout. Each block has a unique focus and goal, incorporating strength, balance, power and flexibility movements. Two of the exercise blocks will use either a band/ball or both, to emphasize control of the body, assist you to do the exercise correctly and/or challenge your body awareness.

Mat Pilates stretches and strengthens your body, primarily the core muscles which span from the hips to the shoulders. Borrowing disciplines from dance, yoga and classic calisthenics, Mat Pilates is equipment free, with moves adapted to work just your body with a floor mat for cushioning and support. Focussing on building a strong powerhouse, Pilates maintains the health of your body, deterring injury.
Rhythm Pilates® is an evolutionary approach to the Pilates mat work that expands on the traditional Pilates method by infusing dance and yoga into whole body movement sequences that are choreographed to music. It is a fun workout for the seasoned mover.
The Reformer machine consists of a sliding carriage rigged with springs, bars and straps. You can lie, kneel stand and sit to create a balanced body and strong core. Reformer sessions provide better back health, flexibility and body awareness by offering all the core-building benefits of Mat Pilates, plus more. The resistance of the pulley and spring system offers more resistance, resulting in better posture and coordination. The cables guarantee a full range of motion, allowing full extension and resulting in a taller, slimmer, sleeker figure.
The Metafit group workout is an effective and simple workout that burns fat by changing the resting metabolism and working big muscle groups with simple, high intensity interval training. It combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT techniques for a fast thirty minute workout, guaranteed to get you sweating!
